Angie Masinde

Administrative Director

Angie is passionate about sharing God's love with people around the world and promoting social justice. She is especially passionate about increasing awareness of and access to mental health care in Uganda and ministering to groups through retreats.

Angie obtained a bachelor's in Anthropology & International Studies from the University of Michigan in 2009 with plans to pursue a career in international nonprofit work. While in college, she served for two years a leader in her campus church's social justice ministry, organizing service opportunities, fundraisers, bible studies, and prayer meetings.

After college, Angie served with her church in Detroit for ten years as a small group leader and small groups ministry co-leader. After working in the nonprofit sector for six years, she felt led to a more one-on-one approach to helping people, so in 2020 she obtained a master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling & Art Therapy from Wayne State University and in 2022 became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR).

Currently, Angie provides counseling and art therapy services in a private practice based in Michigan. She is also active in the worship, A/V, and prayer ministries with Friendship Church in Canton, MI. She uses her gifts of administration, mercy, and creativity to support the work of For Love Ministries as Administrative Director.
